Swartberg Guest House

The house is close to the casino and spa. The room was satisfactory.

The noise was unbearable, the owners/hosts were up till 2am drinking and screaming next door. The TV wasn't working. They gave us a smaller room than what we booked and we had to request to change to the larger room we originally booked.

No milk for coffee Got the the place and could find no one to book in.Whatsapp was off for driving and only opened whatapp later to read the message.Perhaps should advise at booking or send sms Hot tub advertised but have to heat it yourself by supplying your own wood which takes hours.Would consider that false advertising Bathroom door could use rubber strips to make the door close sound much less

I liked how close the place was to Caledon spa, it had a decent pool, service was friendly and the space was clean

No cloths to clean up if u mess although can ask someone to come assist if u need to. What really annoyed me was booking.com that gave me a discounted rate then asked me to upgrade for a fireplace which the guest house doesn't offer. Then when I complained referred back to the guest house instead of taking ownership of the experience with their app. This is no reflection on the guest house and when I mentioned all this to the owner, he immediately addressed the issue and explained they haven't had fireplaces for a long time which I appreciated so again very disappointed in booking.com and loved the experience at the Guest house!

The breakfast was great. Hash brown, eggs, toast, pork sausage. Staff were very helpful, they fixed the light as soon as we asked about it. Access to premises was easy and convenient. Pool is next to the accommodation which is brilliant. Good accommodation if needing to go to Die Woud wedding venue.

Could do with a small upgrade - make slightly more modern.

Great big breakfast. Big comfortable room.
