Loadshedding

Mr Rhode is such a great host! Caring, centered, attentive and knowledgeable. The outside/garden is so spacious and peaceful. I enjoyed exercising/meditating/ yoga outside and we as a family enjoyed the labyrinth. Oh and the mosquito nets around the beds were such a bonus! Slept so peacefully.

The only schlepp is that the facility uses a waterpump which is dependent on electricity. With stage 6 of loadshedding, this was an absolute nightmare as we'd go for 4 hours at a time with no water (+ electricity). I do however acknowledge and appreciate that the loadshedding is out of their control and that Mr Rhode was there at the crack of dawn in the morning to ensure that we are sorted somewhat. Considering how much longer loadshedding is projectected to be around, I do recommend that they look for alternative, cost-effective solutions. Other than this, I have no complaints.

Friendly people, very clean and comfortable!

The owner was friendly and made us feel comfortable. He checked on us to see if we were alright.

metal security gate lock had no key so it had to stay open. Door had a dodgy lock mechanism which took some getting used to. Door knob felt loose… not ideal..
