There’s shared bathroom and the bathroom door is locked with wires and a chain for privacy. The actual place is completely different to the pictures and facilities promised on booking.com It seems the property is incomplete and is need of major renovations and should not be posted on your app nor opened for business until it meets the most basic requirements. For example our host suggested that we use some plastic basin to wash as she couldn’t guarantee that the shower would work in the morning

The worst expericence we had in Southafrica. We arrived in the evening after many hours driving. The roads to arrive are awful (no lights, many patholes, no signals), our car almost broke to arrive there. Once we got there, the house is unfinished, cables everywhere, lack of doors, everything dirty. We rented the room with private bathroom and there was a huge hole giving to the shared bathroom, so the rest of the people could see us while using the bathroom and viceversa, we could see and listen to the rest of people. Furthermore, there was only a single light for the two bathrooms outsite of our room, so everytime someone turned on the light on the shared bathroom, they also turned on our light, which was awful because there was not a door between our private bathroom and the room. We asked for another room and after talking on the phone with the owner for a while (she didn't show up anytime) and after threating and insulting me she gave us a different room, so we could rest without the smells, the light and the noise of the shared bathroom inside of our room. The new room was awful too, broken bed, many ticks. We could not rest in the whole night, everyone was so noisy, even in 4.40a.m. She threat me with filing a claim against me if I published anything about this and she called me racist only for telling her that her place is a lie and she is cheating on people. The women who worked there seemed scared of her and they told us that this happened to them many times and they are exhausted of having to face desperated customers while the owner is never there.
