Incredibly friendly staff that made you feel welcome and went above and beyond to share detail to assist with the stay. We attended a wedding at Providence and the location was great.

"Idyllic getaway in the midlands countryside!"

Our stay at Thatchings was simply idyllic - from the beautiful scenery, wildlife, kids play area (which our 2 year old girl thoroughly enjoyed), picturesque gardens, to the fresh country air, starry nights and the most friendly, adorable cats. Breakfast was also superb and gave us the perfect start to the day - a delicious spread of biscuits, rusks, jams, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juices and the most yummy hot breakfast - which we worked off with a leisurely stroll through the estate, down to the dam! The staff were bubbly and enthusiatic too and the owners were quick to assist and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, we will definitely be back!

The location was beautiful. It met our needs for a half way stop to the KZN coast from Gauteng. Breakfast was just right
