Thalassa Kata Beach

Проживали в июле 2025. Приехали и выяснилось что бассейн закрыт на ремонт. Хозяин любезно показал и рассказал как пройти в соседний отель и плавать. Отель очень хороший. Нам все понравилось. В номере было все. Гель, шампунь, туалетная бумага, для посуды, одноразовые гигиенические принадлежности для двоих, чай, кофе, сахар и вода в холодильнике, посуда была и даже штопор. Зонты! Подстилки на пляж! Убирались и меняли полотенца каждый день! Никаких шумных соседей никакой стройки не слышали. На пляж 10 минут ходьбы а может и меньше) недалеко большой новый 7/11. Рядом по дороге обменники с норм курсом. Рынок ночной рядом. Куча массажных салонов. Ресепшен отдельно!!возле красной вывески где стирают белье смотреть надо наверх на вывески и увидите название отеля.

The apartment was spacious and well presented, and cleaned every day which was great as we often brought half the beach back with us. Our kids were also unwell and so really appreciated the cleaners providing clean bedding. The beds were comfortable and showers and bathrooms good. The pool was great to have but as per other posts is dated with some broken tiles which caused our son to cut his foot. Also the chlorine seemed too strong and made my teeth and skin feel strange. The location is good, the walk to either Karon or Kata beach is around 15 minutes through roads with shops and restaurants, it just takes a couple of times to memorise the route. I would recommend as a clean and tidy place for a family or couples to stay in.

The pool needs to be repaired and the chlorine level adjusted. The apartment door could be more substantial but the lock with pin is a good idea. The toaster didn’t work whilst we were there but we usually ate breakfast outside.

We liked that it was away from all the hussle and bussle.Only a 10 minute walk to the beach.Pool was lovely.We had the downstairs apartment easy access to the pool nice and bright and spacious.

We found Kata beach far too busy.Full of Russians.Do yourself a favour go to Kamala or Surin more quiet and much nicer.

Don’t think would class this a a Hotel Room was dark

It was close to the beach around 15 minutes. Close to the markets and shops.

Room requires a proper maintenance. The shower especially was dirty with molds on the curtain and floor. Even though the name of the property contains "pool" swimming pool was dirty full of mosquitoes and leaves, pretty much unusable. Price was too high for the quality you get. Paid 91 Euros per night. I wouldn't pay even half of that price for it.

The location was quiet, but near to the night market and shops. The bed was comfortable and there was a settee to sit on. The pool was clean and was cleaned whilst we were there.

Chairs on the balcony were not comfortable, but the owner changed them. The TV was not tuned in, but again owner fixed it. The safe did not work. The owner said it needed a new battery, but didn't sort it. There were a number of pool side beds damaged and unusable. The general state of the building itself is in need of some maintenance. Even the flooring in the room was lifting in places. It could be easily fixed, but wasn't. But the worst part of our stY was the air con in room 605. The aircon in the room was noisy, but even worse was the aircon units at the front and rear next to room 605 were very noisy and would disturb any light sleeper.

My wife and I stayed at Thalassa Pool Kata Beach hotel for two weeks in a family studio. The room was large and fully equipped to meet our self catering needs. We were accommodated on the ground floor and had direct access to the pool and sun loungers which were used on a daily basis by my wife who loved the experience.

We had two minor issues: the wash basin sink was partially blocked and slowed the drainage of the water from it and the freezer compartment of the fridge was unable to make any ice which would have been a nice addition to our drinks.

Great location close to all amenities gardens kept immaculate & lovely pool

Couldn’t find reception when we arrived but was clear by sign on back door
