We enjoyed a very tasty Old English breakfast. Can recommend it. The beautiful old house made us think back to our parents house on the farm in the Boesmanland. Thank you for your hospitality.

The fact that we arrived 9pm and were locked out for almost an hour! We rang the bell and called several times and no response. It was cold outside, we were in front of the door with my two infants and luggage. There was a key in, the door had been locked from the inside. How do you run a business and you don't convey entrance points. I had to ask someone to call from a different number all the way in Plettenberg Bay to seek an alternative number as we thought we now needed to go look for additional accommodation but our belongings were still inside. Eventually the guy comes out very peeved at us for ringing the bell more than once and walked away demanding we lock the door behind us and walks off. Highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. The next morning he did not even check us out, we waited and had to leave the key on the desk so we are not late for church. Facility is not up to standard, paint peeling off the walls and mat is loose from the floor making speedbumps. A truly disappointed and for the amount we paid especially!
