Made an emergency last minute booking, the staff was super welcoming and friendly! The facilities were clean and breakfast was really good.

The Gentleman who received us at a very late hour was kind, courteous and straight to the point. 10 out of 10 for his extreme kindness to accomodate my collegue and myself at short notice after a gruellingly hot day in the field.

1) Both bed bases are made out of protruding angle-iron, close to the floor, creating a toe-trap. At a particular point along this toe-trap is another sharply cut metal bracket. as my colleague prepared to climb into his bed, his toes went into this toe-trap at the particular point where this sharply cut angled metal was attached to the base. Result, bumped big toe, but without injury or blood. Just painful and extremely unsafe. 2) Both bed-bases have short protruding metal legs. They extend beyond the bed base, are covered in bedding, and pose an extreme injury hazard to a passing foot. On the bed closest the shower, upon walking out of the shower, my right foot's little toe was badly injured against the extremely dangerous hidden protruding bed-foot. This has led to great difficulty in wearing work safety-boots even up till now.

The maintenance outside

Stayed at this accommodation to explore the flowers in the reserve behind the town and took a drive to the Matsikamma Mountains nearby, up the Gifberg pass. Good location also to stay overnight on the way to Nieuwoudtville. Clean bed and breakfast accommodation.
