I booked a luxury suite on bookings.com but was put in a standard room because I paid less tham what they charge for walk ins ( I had got a discounted rate from Bookings.com). I wasn't allowed to upgrade myself (with my own money) because I "sat in bed" - my bags were still on the car.

They need a better booking system.
