Terrible experience at Ilawu. The staff were unfriendly, rude and engaged in gossip. Often the reception area was unmanned, requiring me as guest to go to the dining area to find someone who will help me. Even then, they had bad attitude - requiring multiple greetings before acknowledging me. My toddler accidentally broke a glass while we were having our breakfast the staff reaction was unacceptable. A chef wearing an apron with Amajuba logo gave me a disapproving look and a pregnant staff member questioned me why I hadn’t reported it sooner. I was with 2 toddlers and needed help, not blame. Unprofessional service and lack of empathy. Would not recommend!!
