I booked this place for my parents, they got there had to walk 3 flights if stairs to get there. To whitch was greeted with a dirty fire place , unclean room and shower room. Dirty mattress and im sure the bwd was broke

Location was great being right in the city centre - lovely clean quirky room perfect for our night away

It was noisy from the bars outside plus the bottle bins but we knew this from the previous reviews so we were fully aware and its was expected but was a lovely touch with the ear plugs

Thought it was a proper B&B! No breakfast and no sign of staff or owner, waited outside for 30 mins before someone turned up to let me in

Really lovely, quirky building with lots of character. For a night or two, it's adequate. Lovely host.

The bed isn't very comfortable and being at the heart of the town centre, it's noisy though this didn't bother us. May do others

They cancelled my room reservation on the same day, when I was already in Cork, even though I had booked it the month before.

There was nothing I did not like but there were things that could be better but given the price it did the job of being clean and comfortable .

no breakfast option. nowhere to hang clothes. tv channels were uninteresting....where were BBC, RTE, etc...? bathroom was nice. General decor needs to be finished though!!

The shower was warm and clean. The towels and bedding were fresh. The radiators were able to keep the room warm.

The entrance was dark and full of black plastic bags of sorts, no hall lights were on and no staff were present throughout the stay. I had to call in order to ask where the amenities were. The building itself and some of the furniture were quite old. It would always alarm me whenever I hear shuffling outside my door. Although I could see cameras, it did not feel safe as the stairs were also always dark. It could be a decent temporary lodging for backpackers; generally felt eerie.
