The place is fantastic, very peaceful with a beautiful garden. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are great, hot shower included. The hosts were also the best, super friendly, they help out with recommendations or scooter rentals, they provide breakfast and always welcome you with a warm smile.

Wunderschöner großer Garten mit alten Bäumen. Viele Statuen und andere Dekorationen im Freien. Große schöne alte Bäume, Teich und Wasserlauf, ein Garten zum Träumen. Man merkt dass der Eigentümer aktiver Künstler ist. Da ist aber viel Personal gibt, ist der Service umsichtig und gut. Und auch entsprechend ruhig gelegen am Ende einer kleinen Gasse. Schöne Terrasse zum Garten, sehr schönes Bad. Gutes Frühstück.

Leider hatte das Doppelzimmer zwei Doppelbetten und obwohl es eigentlich groß war, war es darum durch eng und kein Platz mehr für andere Sitzgelegenheiten im Zimmer Diese gab es aber auf der überdachten Terrasse. Witzigerweise war die Größe des Zimmers mit 1200 Quadratmetern angegeben. Leider sind größenangaben bei booking.com ohne hin anscheinend zufallszahlen, ein anderes Zimmer wurde kürzlich mit sechs Quadratmetern angegeben, es war aber sicher mind 18m² Der richtige Name, wie man ihn auch in Google Maps findet, ist Ketut Madra Homestay, booking gibt ihn nur mit Madra Homestay an, was angesichts des Gässchengewirrs und der Straßenbezeichnung entsprechend einer hauptstraße 200 m weiter zu Verwirrung führen kann.

Super comfortable room very spacious and beds are big and soft. Very clean. Cute dogs around the property. Free water. Breakfast was big, a plate of fresh fruit and some variation on eggs and carbs which changed daily, plus tea or coffee.

Shower was a bit weird to use it didnt seem to like staying at a medium warm temperature.

This place has been a blessing, quiet little garden paradise tucked away in a quiet road just minutes away from absolute chaos of busy Ubud traffic. Big comfy bed, magic of hot shower in Bali, delicious breakfast and warm family hosts who even put anti-mosquito incenses every evening so you are safe. I leapt extending TWICE giving me more time to adapt to humid environment my body surprisingly began to struggle with - heavy compared to Thailand.. Might be the consequences of 2month travelling. At some point I gave up on going back to busy roads just stocking up some fruits and water from Pepito supermarket. And in a search for help=massage there is Ratu Isayana just 6 minutes away in front of small rice field, along with 2 simple yet peaceful places to have launch/dinner. Cant recommend enough this simple, quiet sanctuary ! I struggled to find any better with SO much greenery and peace around. And wifi is excellent too!!
