Plunge pool was dirty and not working

Large bedroom very friendly staff perfect location quiet place in the very center of Ubud but away from the noise

Really disappointing, not sure how this place got a 8/10 rating Bedroom had a very strong smell, not sure if it was humidity or the A/C Bathroom was run down, with plaster falling off the walls, spiders in the shower corners, mirror covered with stains (hasn't been wiped for ages). Could have used a shower curtain. Water pressure was bad, both in the shower and the sink Bedding wasn't complete, we had no flat sheet, just a bed cover which was too small. We asked for a second or bigger blanket + a flat sheet on the second day, they said OK but didn't bring it in the end (not sure they could understand us), so we had to ask again. The little private pool outside our patio couldn't be used ("broken" apparently), which we learned only when we got there (that probably should be mentioned when you book or after). The patio/terrasse hadn't been cleaned yet when we checked-in. Our biggest concern was that housekeeping seemed to be non-existent. After 3 days no one had come in to clean a bit or make the bed, empty the bin..etc We had to specifically ask for it on the 4th day, by email because when we asked the staff we could tell they could barely understand English. They gave us "fresh" towels on the last day but they were full of stains, one looked quite gross.. They don't even leave a spare toilet paper roll in the bathroom, I ended up without any toilet paper left in the middle of the night when I got sick, you can imagine the nightmare. And when I asked them for a roll in the morning I couldn't even get one, so we had to go to a cafe to finally be able to poop, I couldn't believe it. There was also a water issue. One night + morning we ended up without running water, we couldn't use the sink and neither the shower, nor flush the toilet. They said they were gonna address the problem but when we came back much later the issue hadn't been fixed at all, to our surprise..

Such a beautiful garden, the pool is also gorgeous. Staff were so friendly. the location is perfect for everything and there’s a lot going on down that street!

Our private pool wasn’t cleaned until the 3rd day of our stay so we couldn’t go in until then and then we had to leave. Once we got in though it was lovelyyyy! Showers weren’t warm until the evening most the time but sometimes we were ok!
