The bed was super uncomfortable. They need to change mattresses asap. My back still aches. The place is dirty and utilities often run out. Be prepared to run out of toilet paper and water-heating gas. I highly do not recommend the place.

The dorm room was okay, with curtains and outlets.

The bathroom was dirty, basically unusable for a shower and so so small. Sometimes, there was no toilet paper. There’s AC in the dorm, but it’s only concentrated in one tiny area. So trying to sleep in the beds next to the door was impossible, it was so hot. The hosts also don’t tell the guests any rules upon check in, so you had so many men talking on the phone in the dorm at 1am-7am, no sleep. There is also a significant amount of plastic rubbish all over the property, it’s clear there isn’t any respect by the owners for the environment. When I messaged the host about these problems (and why I left after only one night) their response was rude and not caring. Would not recommend.

The location is absolutely nice. You will immediately feel the charm of Ubud! The owner, Komang, is one of the best host I've met, always willing and happy to help. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Ubud
