Kidem Ubud Villas

The villas are located in a nice quiet area of Ubud. The service is excellent & the rooms comfortable.

The property is further away from the main road than advertised on booking.com & Apple maps! It’s a good 15/20 minute walk from the closest accessible road for cars. The walk is lovely through the rice fields and local cafes but very busy with scooter traffic. If you don’t have a scooter the walk can become a bit of a chore! (The staff will pick up your bags & offer to take you on their scooters)

Contact with the property prior to staying and during our stay was always prompt and helpful and a taxi for our next stop was arranged. We stayed in room 4 which was at the end of the villas, looked out over rice fields and banana trees (and others) to the right. Lovely cottage, amazing bathroom with constant hot water, very clean. Bed was comfy and the bedding was nice. Mini bar facilities and fridge in room which is always handy. Staff were lovely and willing to transport you on the back of a scooter to and from the villas if you don’t want to walk to Ubud centre but to be honest, it was a beautiful 15-20 minute walk and well worth doing. Good choice of breakfast and cooked freshly, on our last day the owner even made our breakfast at 6am as we had an early start. Beautiful accommodation and amazing staff. Nice little pool and pool towels provided.

Kidem und seine Mitarbeiter haben uns wunderbare Tage in Ubud bereitet. Klein aber fein ist hier das Motto. Als Ausgangspunkt um Ubud zu erkunden ist die Anlage ideal. Das Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet. Zum Abschluss hat er uns mit seiner sympathischen Frau und der kleinen Adelia zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft gefahren. Hierfür nochmal ein extra Dankeschön!

Location Location Location... Can only reach the villa by scooter. I had 3 suitcases. Omg I was speechless. Also I had no control once i was dropped off at the villa. When I wanted to leave I had to request a scooter. No TV Very very dark. I was so scared I got no sleep. My stay was for 3 nights...I only stayed one. I talked to the manager when I first got there and said she would contact the owners...but I neva heard from them. I tried to stay the 2nd nite but when my driver was taking me to the meeting point to ride the scooter i just couldn't. I started getting panicky and ovawhelmed More details need to be listed about this villa because you are 100% secluded in the woods. Alot was not even mentioned in the details on bookin.com. There are no stores. No nothing until the scooters pick you up. And the pool....was no pool in my opinion. I am going request a refund . Very scary being so far from home. Please be more honest. Please
