Old Nubian guest house

The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and extensive. They even had breakfast takeaway when I had to leave early. Everything was taking cared of. The quality of the lunch is very good, you can also just eat here during your trip to Philea Temple. The rooms are beautiful decorated, lovely details like Nubian flipflops and fresh fruit in your room, very clean (never experienced such a clean hotel in Egypt before, you know that this is not so common here). Moustafa, the owner and his amazing staff will do anything to help you and feel at home here. I can recommend this hotel to everybody.

The view is wonderful. the style of hotel is cute. The staff is friendly. The dinner was delicious.

The location, it's difficult to reach the place and you can't move from there without a boat. Afterwards you need to take a taxi at not the easiest place.

The pictures do not do justice to how gorgeous the place is. It’s also very clean and well maintained. Staff are lovely. Although people have complained about its remoteness it is quite easy for the hotel to motorboat you to Batonion dock and then get a car for there to Aswan. The city is much smaller than you think!

The check out process could have been smoother. It’s quite normal to want to pay by card. The mattresses are uncomfortable- would not have been good for a longer stay.
