Casa do Coura

Gustavo and Sandra are outstanding hosts, seeing to every need. No request is too much trouble. The location is peaceful and quiet; comfortable and of very high standard, (equal to. 4 star hotel) Most certainly worth every cent a d deserving of multiple visits

We stayed one day at Gustavo and Sandra's beautiful place. Their complex, the area, the farm, and specially their treat and service to us where high above our expectations. I am in the same business and never before saw a personalized service before. Casa do Coura is 2-3 km Away from Caminha, a beautiful medieval town. Its in the country side, by a beautiful river (Coura). The property is big with plenty of space for fruit trees and they even have a few animals. Breakfast is lovely made by Sandra with lots of their own ecological products such as tasty jams and marmalades, eggs, skams, natural orange juice... Property was totally renewed in the past years and its nice and comfortable, and much more is to come....they have lots of plans:) I wish you two the best with this marvelous project. A very beautiful and newly renovated house in a very quiet location. Both the house and the garden are very lovingly decorated (down to the smallest detail). The rooms are top. The hosts, Sandra and Gustavo, are lovely people and always look after the well-being of their guests. The sustainable agriculture that they run is also very impressive. All the food is from their own cultivation or, as far as possible, from their own breeding. The breakfast was great with lots of homemade jams, juices, etc. (and I can really recommend the kiwi liqueur ;-) ). A great house to feel good in and a role model for sustainability!

Sandra and Gustavo are wonderful hosts. They served us great breakfast and selfcooked dinner. We had nice and interesting talks with them. The house has a beautiful garden lokated close to the river. A great place to relax
