Non molto purtroppo

Una struttura purtroppo fortemente trascurata. Sporca (la finestra della camera si apre su un cortile interno con cani, pieno dei loro escrementi lasciati da giorni). Sporca anche la sala della colazione dove non si effettuano le pulizie (lampada per gli insetti stracolma delle sue....vittime). Peccato perché sarebbe una bella struttura.

Unfortunately, my review is negative, even though I genuinely wanted this stay to work out. I was travelling on a business trip by car across half of Europe and had already spent many hours on the road. On the final stretch of my journey, the owner informed me that I would arrive too late – after their working hours – and that there would be no one available to open the room for me. I was told that “by making the reservation you accepted the rules” and that it was my problem that I would not arrive on time. In practice, this meant that after a long and exhausting trip I was left without any accommodation, despite having a paid reservation. When I asked for a refund for the unused night, the owner replied that he would not refund anything. To make matters worse, he issued an invoice for a service that never actually took place. I find this extremely dishonest and I feel completely cheated. I expect the owner will now try to defend himself and put all the blame on the “terms and conditions” and the customer, but please be very cautious about his explanations. I strongly advise against paying in advance until you have actually received the keys and confirmed that you can really use the room you booked.
