Muhsin Villa - Galle Fort

It was clean which is a positive and since it’s inside the galle fort, it’s easy to reach out to places and restaurants around.

Firstly, the villa is okay if you don’t come by a vehicle. But we faced an unpleasant experience in our stay. We parked our vehicle right in front of the villa as advised by the person who managed the property but within an hour of our arrival, we got a call saying our vehicle was knocked by another vehicle and left without stopping. Therefore, if you are someone who go there by your vehicle, I don’t recommend this villa. Although they say you have car parking in front of the property, if something happens, nobody is going to be responsible for the damage caused. Also at night there’s nobody in the property. So, if you are okay to stay in a place with minimum support staff, that won’t be an issue, but if not, again I don’t recommend the place.

Central location in the fort area. Comfortable rooms. Mine was a single with a shared bathroom right outside the door. Nice shared spaces. Communication was good.

Functional for £40 a night. Right in the city centre. Quiet. Owner lovely. Rang us to tell us they couldn't check us in until 3 pm on the day of arrival. None/very few mosquitos in comparison to other places we stayed. .

Centrally located in the heart of Galle fort. You have a small shared kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea, as well as a boiler for hot water. You also have filtered drinking water provided. The villa is cosy, clean and very big despite the narrow facade onto the street. Staff was nice and welcoming
