In a prime location in Galle, our room was simple but clean with a balcony overlooking a nice street. It was nothing spectacular but it was fantastic value for money. Our host was very nice and friendly. It is excellent for what it is.

The breakfast area and breakfast could have been a little better.

Lovely clean rooms with a nice sized bathroom. Being greeted by a wonderful host who provided cold face refresher towels and king coconuts to drink upon arrival.

Fantastic location, great value for the quality of the room which was very quiet despite being right near the action in Galle Fort. Lovely host which is really important for me as a solo traveller. Great breakfast provided on request. I’d definitely recommend this place.

What a wonderful hotel, in a quiet location, yet a few minutes walk to all the amenities one way, and the same to the ramparts for setting sun views. We were met by the lovely Mallika who welcomed us into the cool stylish interior and gave us a brief rundown of how everything works. The bedroom was beautiful, with a large 4 poster bed that was incredibly comfortable, with a well appointed en-suite, the balcony was ample enough for both of us to sit outside for a pre-dinner glass of wine. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, and its lovely owner 🙏

Our hostess was delightful offering a well timed cold drink upon arrival. Rooms were lovely with old colonial styling and furniture and the two doubles at the front having a long shared balcony overlooking the street. Nice clean modern bathrooms. Perfect location in the fort area with sights, shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Even a small beach for an early morning swim.

Disappointingly there was a power cut on our first night so we had no hot water for showering or power to change our devices. It took some hours to fix but thankfully was done before we returned to our rooms.

Nice location near Galle Fort and streets with historical buildings and shops.

There was no water supply for the first day and night (apparently due to a power outage in the country); the owner and staff do not go the "extra mile" to make guests comfortable. With no breakfast or even morning coffee, this place is very poor value for money compared to the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka and not recommended for travelers.
