Fort Dew Guest House

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad bij Fort Dew Guest House. De kamer was in orde en voldeed aan wat we nodig hadden. De ligging is een groot pluspunt: midden in het fort, op loopafstand van alle voorzieningen, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Alles is gemakkelijk te voet bereikbaar. Vanaf het balkon heb je uitzicht op de buitenmuren van het fort en de nabijgelegen tempel, wat een leuk extraatje is.

Het warme water werkte niet altijd en door de omgeving is het soms wat gehorig. Daarnaast kwam de host wat ongeïnteresseerd over, wat het verblijf iets minder persoonlijk maakte.

La colazione era sufficiente. La posizione era ottima : dentro le mura con ballatoio vista mare e mura. La terrazza per ristorante e colazione era splendida con vista tramonto sul mare

La camera era un po' piccola e non c'era nessun comodino

Friendly staff; great location with a view across the ramparts. The room and bed were comfortable. Convenient to have a restaurant/bar upstairs and small sitting area outside the door.

We used earplugs as there are many tuktuks and motorbikes going past.

Location is a perfect for Galle Fort - the room was clean and large with excellent aircon. The balcony is really pretty too!

Location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Great balconies to sit and watch the activities on the green. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower was very poor, hardly any water coming through.

Posizione ottima per visitare tutto Fort Galle, colazione non era inclusa nella camera. Bella veranda esterna e vicino ad un tempio Buddista.

We loved our stay at Fort Dew Guesthouse. It's the perfect location in the fort and really great value for money. We enjoyed sitting upstairs watching the sunset, and swinging on the chairs on the lower deck. We'd gladly stay at Fort Dew again.
