Arches Fort was in a perfect location right in the middle of Galle and we found it surprisingly quiet, considering it was on a fairly busy street. Fabulous breakfast, very helpful staff, what else do you need?

Location was good, staff were nice. Breakfast was good.

The shower was very old cubicle and needed a good clean.

It was in the heart of the fort so easy to access everything, but not noisy and we were on the road side! very comfortable bed! Good breakfast! Friendly staff

We only stayed one night and the building itself was great but felt it could do with a little help!

没啥特别满意的

半夜有老鼠在地板夹层疯狂活动，把人吵醒，很吓人。

Das Frühstück war reichlich und gut! Nette Frühstücksterrasse.

Sehr kleines Zimmer, allerdings war ich alleine.

Location is perfect, right in the middle of Galle Fort. You can get anywhere in the Fort within 5 minutes and when you get hot simply retreat to your air conditioned room in this traditional mansion house. The staff provide low key, unintrusive and friendly service, especially as they get to know you during your stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the outer room and balcony for use early or late in the day. The breakfast was very good too, scrambled eggs well cooked and perfect bolied eggs - once we agreed the cooking time with them!

Lacked a few amenities like a hairdryer - albeit we did get one when we asked, and the space age shower was a bit out of character with the nature of the property. The price was a bit higher than similar properties we had stayed elsewhere in Sri Lanka, however we appreciate there is a premium for staying in Galle Fort and given the excellent location Arches Fort did provide value for money.

It was a lovely place, with good surroundings. A lot of places around to sit and eat. Sea side sunset is precious.

Basic amenities are missing. No dental kits, no hairdryer, and no basic amenities are available.
