Villa Nile House Luxor

Calm, charming, surprisingly peaceful place on the West bank. It is located in a typical neighborhood. Very practical location for West bank visits. The personnel were kind, and very helpful (advice for the ferry, etc…). We regretted not organizing our day trips through them (had already organized), as they seem very reasonable and experienced. The swimming pool was very welcome and clean. Breakfast was freshly made, delicious and huge.

Wifi was iffy when a group was there in the evening (too many people on).

A large, beautiful, historic villa with a sense of old-world charm. Clean and very well-maintained, with helpful, smiling staff. The pool is an added bonus. Away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor, the ferry port is a short walk away.

La struttura è bella, sicuramente si sente l'atmosfera egiziana. La parte esteriore è molto accogliente e fare colazione fuori la mattina è rilassante. La colazione è abbondante ma un po' limitata nelle scelte (pane, marmellata, formaggio, omelette, caffè/the), si può richiedere il bis senza problemi. L'hotel è a 3 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale dove si trovano ristoranti, taxi, barche, piccoli negozi.

Il bagno è migliorabile: il nostro "box doccia" era finto, e ogni volta che facevamo la doccia si allagava tutto il bagno e anche la camera. Non molto confortevole.

The traditional vibe of the hotel is beautiful all the stained glass and lovely wooden doors. It has a lovely feel to it. Staff were very helpful. Good location to explore the area from. Lovely food in the garden. Offered me a change of room as with a mobility problem I struggled with the stairs. Got the shuttle at the airport no problem at all. Would stay there again. Plenty of choice for food options near by and boat rides on the Nile.

The mosquitoes, but that’s the trade off for being so close to the Nile. A net is provided.

Emplacement super, petit déjeuner super aussi! Joliment décoré et bon emplacement

Hôtel plein de charme avec des chambres distribuées autour d’un espace intérieur arboré et fleuri où règne le calme. Nous avions un grand appartement sous des coupoles décorées de vitraux avec une petite terrasse donnant sur la piscine. Le personnel est attentionné, les petits déjeuners copieux (avec des crêpes !) et on peut aussi avoir des repas très corrects. Bien que l’hôtel soit situé rive Ouest du Nil, donc plus au calme, le cœur de ville de Louxor sur la rive Est est très aisément accessible via le ferry public situé à 700 mètres environ.
