Location was great, friendly helpful staff. Great time meeting other guest. Excellent common space.

Location in the city centre, just a few steps from bus terminal, main square, most restaurants and agencies organising tubing, canyoning and much more. I got a nice room with a balcony (hammock + small table with a pair of chairs). Big enough and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I couldn't lock a window neither a door to balcony so the room was kind of open all the time. I felt safe but it should be fixed. Kitchen is poorly equipped. Fortunately I was always using it alone but still it's a bit difficult to cook.

Wifi usually OK. Bed was comfy and warm.

The bathroom is accessable only via a public-viewed terrace. The security is terrible as the bedroom window doesn't lock (which actually turned out to be an advantage as I inadvertently closed my door on the way to the bathroom and it locked itself behind me. Good job I wasn't naked! But even so I got some surprised chuckles from the people in the street as I climbed in). The prices quoted don't include taxes and they don't accept cards. The staff seemed surprised when I turned up - not a great welcome. The walls are paper thin and there were a couple of men next door who talked uncessantly and at the top of their voices at 3.00am onwards in their bedroom and in the shower.

The bathroom had a strong smell.

Lots of electrical sockets available, including some near the bed. Good location, very close to restaurants and shops. There is access to a well fitted kitchen with four cooking hobs, fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed. Extra blanket. Hot water in the shower, although you might need to locate the breaker switch in the shower and turn it on before you get hot water. Good price. Beautiful artwork painted on all the walls by the owner. Free drinking water available. Hot water in the kitchen sink. Hammocks and hanging chairs everywhere. Lovely friendly helpful host family.

The bathroom was not exactly en suite as advertised. In fact, to get to it, you have to go out of the bedroom, and across a balcony, in full view of everyone in the street. It's a very noisy area, with people and traffic, but worst are the stray dogs that bark and fight with each other until the late hours and the cockerels, that start crowing from 11pm and continue all night. Even when using ear plugs, I was woken several times through the night. WiFi was poor quality at times... but mostly connected. There was a comfortable armchair in the room, but it was suede and well passed its sell by date... it's surface was sticky, but there was an extra blanket that I could put over it.
