Guest House Bunk

It was a nice and cosy place for a family accommodation. Owner was nice and very accomadative, picked up from the local train station and drove us to nearby ski resorts. Would definitely stay again if we went back.

About 15 minute walk to the main village if want to go for dinner, might be challenging if you have young kids otherwise no problems. You can certainly dine in from the accommodation as owner makes nice dinner.

Great traditional pension run by Sasa who went out of his way to make our stay great. Transported us around to different mountains each day . Food was solid hearty meals and enough variety . Great stay. Clean comfortable and would recommend

Cosy boarding house, warm and friendly. Met lovely fellow skiers from different countries and different ages (families, friend groups etc). The village is 15/20 minute walk which was no issue for us. Yummy breakfast each morning and an exceptional host in Sasa. We loved our stay and appreciated everything Sasa did for us, dropping us off at different resorts right to the entrance, helping us forward our luggage and making restaurant bookings. Would love to stay again 😁

Location is the not the closest to Akakura, but Saza the host was very accommodating to transfer us to and from the ski resorts He's very jovial and is a good cook, so breakfast and dinner are very good House is very homey, complete with fireplace

Quiet location yet close to slopes. Rooms were clean and bright.

The owner Sasa is very nice and accommodating. He will drop you to ski resorts/train stations if he is available to do so. But other guests rented their own cars, which could be handy if you are able to. The guesthouse feels cosy, the breakfast is nice and coming home to a warm fire and hot onsen after a day of skiing is amazing. Everything is super clean and orderly. You can use the washing machine and dryer for a small fee. Our kids certainly enjoyed a white Christmas at Guest House Bunk!
