We absolutely loved our stay at Apartment Ankica and will surely return. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen had everything one might need and Mrs Ankica was really nice and helpful.

Very friendly host, very nice and well equipped apartment, excellent location - calm and peaceful. It was excellent restaurant 25 min away by car, wonderful walking path throw the canyon Vrežnica, astonishing beaches... Really unique place, we will come back for sure :)

Easy to access location, friendly owners, facility in good condition, comfortable beds, parking on site.

A microwave oven would be very useful in the kitchen. It's next to a quite busy road - not really disturbing in terms of noise, but good to consider.

Our disappointing stay was in the upper one-bedroom unit. The unit was extremely basic. We booked based on positive reviews, which in rereading seem to have been for the lower unit Apparently, the unit and a summer booking make all the difference to the experience at this property. The best part of the stay was the friendly on-site namesake elderly Croatian-only speaking hostess. I'm thankful to Google translate even though her only response to all questions was "in Krk", even when the question was about the nearest grocery store which happened to be a mile away! One plus given our November visit was plenty of blankets. This was helpful since the unit was freezing upon our arrival and took a long time to wam up. If you are looking for a stay that is a bit above camping then this one might be for you.

For us the saying on the wall clock says it all...I'm like an owl...I don't give a hoot"...Over the course of the last several months traveling throughout Croatia and Turkey this was our worst stay...Others take so much more care and interest. I cannot recommend. The list of basic equipment/necessities missing for a comfortable stay is a long one... so here are just a few examples...In the land of Pekaras/bakeries, the lack of a bread knife (or any serrated knife), is a fail. Two holders in the bathroom for toothbrush cups but none to be had in the house. No hand soap of any kind. Small bowls for cereal and no juice or small glasses for small hands, which would be nice. The apartment is very dark and missing light bulbs in the lamps doesn't help, and no replacements! Half plus of the bedroom is unusable for even a small adult, and requires a person to crawl over one side of the bed to the other. .
