Victoria Project - Houses - Private Parking

Good wifi, quiet and central location (near to cafes and tower), nice open plan ground floor with kitchen and sitting area, good wardrobe space

We ended up in 'house 1' when we booked and paid for 'house 2', so didn't have the second bathroom or washing machine facilities we expected. Quite a fuss in trying to work out accountability (no-one took responsibility), but we stayed and made the best of it, as only in Porto for two days. The one bathroom was inadequate for four people, small and no proper ventilation, probably the reason why there were two dehumidifiers going in the property (we emptied every day when they filled up), house did smell damp. We were also misled on the parking - told in writing by the owner that it was 'private and secure' when it turned out to be a public car park (was manned, but certainly not secure as open to anyone to walk into). Not the easiest place to locate, had to go round the one way system three times, so probably better if you're not in a car. Some other minor gripes (stains on one of the twin bed covers, not the landmarks/city view (see photo), safe only had 3 batteries in and water filter was expired, trip hazard with rug in double bedroom). Didn't raise these with owner given their lack of response on having the wrong house and the damp. Overall, smacked of poor attention to detail, although the property was clean and nicely decorated.

Great location and fantastic support of the host

The house is in a fantastic location, and the hosts are incredibly friendly—they even cleaned the house for us on our second day there.

The house has a half-bath on the first floor and a full bath on the second floor. The shower is really small.
