Boavista Eco-Luxury House

My husband and I found out last minute he would need to work while we were on vacation. The owners did everything possible on their end to make the situation workable with the internet. In short, after an evening, we felt it was not appropriate for my husband to work here, and so we got a second Airbnb for him. I have never been in a Hotel, Airbnb or Bed and Breakfast where I have felt so much at peace. The "blue" room that I stayed in was heaven for me. I have not slept so well in a long time! Once the restaurant closes at night, it is so quiet, and all you here are the birds. I can not say enough about how relaxing this was for me. I think it's a perfect place for a solo female traveler. Also, for a night or two as a couple. Breakfast was lovely in the morning, and I loved Elisabeth . Everyone was just super kind. Walkable to everywhere.

There is nothing I did not absolutely love about this! I will only say that for a big guy, maybe the bathtub shower could be a challenge. Also, this is definitely more Bed &Breakfast style. Breakfast is vegetarian, which was fine with me. Please read all the reviews before booking because leaving anything negative would never be fair. This place is a dream!

What a beautiful accommodation, tucked away just two minutes from the iconic Rotunda da Boavista ( one of Portugal's top cultural venues) in the Casa da Musica district of Porto. The house has been lovingly restored in an elegant rococo style and the beautiful room we stayed in felt like luxury. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and the bespoke breakfast experience was a wonderful start to the day.

We were so fortunate to find this place! It's a building that has been renovated with care, precision to the architectural style and in an environmentally friendly way. We were also lucky that there was a last minute table that was available for us at the plant based vegan restaurant too. The food was locally sourced, organic, delicious, unique and homemade by the owner (of the restaurant and hotel). This place was truly a gem! The rooms and bathrooms are unique, breakfast was delicious and the owner couple is so attentive and so enthralled by what they do that you can feel it in their hospitality! We will definitely find a reason to go back!
