The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning was lovely and cool. Breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

You are required to leave the room key with reception, which is not a problem in itself. Still, there was no reassurance that someone couldn't come up and ask for the key. One evening, we came back and spoke to a member of staff we had not met, who just let us behind the desk and let us grab the key ourselves, with no checks on who we were.

Es un edificio histórico, estuvo al punto de colapsar durante el período de guerras. Es precioso pero claramente no tiene la decoración genérica de una cadena tipo Novotel/Ibis. El desayuno incluido vale mucho la pena y los restaurantes después de las puertas de la antigua capital Mdina es imperdible. Amé.

Breakfast was too basic

The location was perfect for us. Close to the main gates of Mdina, local transit, and walkable to the sites of Rabat. The room was large and comfortable and the view from the Maltese balcony was beautiful. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was just as enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and made for a lovely stay. It was convenient to leave our luggage after we checked out and explore all the area had to offer. We would definitely stay again.
