Location Is top-notch, right aside the gates of Mdina. Price is very reasonable considering nearby properties' ones.

The place needs a thorough renovation, which is a shame considering the once historical building now turned into a messy hodgepodge. Breakfast choices are among a few fixed menus and I would not suggest the continental one I've got - everything was prepackaged and the supposedly "fruit salad" was half an apple and half an orange, non even peeled, just in slices. Staff must have said a maximum of 10 words - if even so - between check in and check-out.

The location is fantastic, just outside the walls of Mdina, the building is old and full of character, and the value for money was brilliant. The view across the island was lovely too.

No complaints until the drilling at 7am on the morning we were about to leave!

The location was good, a few minutes walk from Rabat and Medina. Hotel was OK, it is 200 years old and the room we were in could have used a bit of redecoration, especially window sills. The room was fine for the purposes of our stay, comfortable bed, shower over the bath, somewhere to sit, hangers for your clothes. Nothing remarkable and perfectly adequate. The breakfast was good, choice of cold or hot, tea and coffee etc all served at your table. Pizza in the evening was very good and they have a nice restaurant at the back of the hotel.

Гостевой дом расположен очень удобно для посещения крепости и катакомб в Рабате. Здание старинное, но номера оснащены всеми удобствами. Мой номер был достаточно просторным даже для двоих, с высоким потолком и видом на городскую площадь перед крепостной стеной. Я приехал на 2 часа раньше положенного времени, и мой номер еще не был готов. Но мне любезно предложили оставить чемодан, чтобы я не терял время. Постельное белье белоснежное. Две бутылочки воды тоже были в самый раз.

В отеле нет лифта, и чтобы попасть на второй этаж, нужно потрудиться. Менеджер отеля, очень приветливый человек, помог мне поднять чемодан. Отдельное ему спасибо. Персонал отеля вообще очень приятный и отзывчивый. Ванная комната в целом удобная, и хотя раковина маленькая, мне одному это не помешало. В номере нет сейфа, нет минибара. Это мелочи, но для кого-то это может иметь значение.
