Dajayon Hanok Stay

This was such a wonderful place to stay, it's clean, silent, cozy but still in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Seoul. The underground station is on 2 minutes walking, so it's also very convenient for traveling around the city. The owners are also the most kind and helpful people, nothing but praise for the lovely house.

Absolutely nothing, but the beds are quite hard if you are not used to sleeping on these style of beds.

Very convenient to the subway and very clean

The traditional style house is super clean, well-located in Jongno district (very close to Jongno 3(sam)-ga station exits 7/8 where you can take subway lines 1/3/5). It is a short walk to Changdeokgung palace which is really stunning architecturally. Something to keep in mind is that, as shown in the photos, the bed is futon-style. If this doesn't suit you then you won't find it comfortable. We slept well and were comfortable for the 6 nights of our stay. Toiletries, WiFi, air-conditioning, are all provided in the room. There is a communal kitchen with fridge, cooking facilities, and water purifier too. The garden is peaceful if you want to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The hosts are also very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave luggage for storage and there is a laundry service if needed.

Great location, very close to public transit. Hosts were so welcoming and very friendly. Was such a pleasure to be able to stay in their home. Provided shower essentials including shoes. Such a great way to experience traditional Korean living.
