1stly the host! He gave us a small map indicating where we can go and what we can see. This was truly helpful! He shared links to wonderful restaurants.

Not based on the apartment - but ensure you do have cash with you when visiting the town, not all restaurants and cafe's accept visa.

The apartment is well kept and clean. The owner Matija and his parents are friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is about 5mins walk from the Slunj Bus station and 900m away, 15mins walk to Rastoke Village. There is scheduled buses from Slunj to Plitvice Lake and vice versa. We took bus to Plitvice Lake (€5.50) connect bus to Split (€26.50). Can prior check and buy tickets online.

No comments, we have a wonderful stay at Slunj.
