Mooi uitzicht. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Slim ingedeelde kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt; een zit, eet en slaaphoek.

Het bed was erg smal en lag niet lekker. Wij kregen het keukenkastje bijna niet open, deed zeer aan onze vingers, zat geen handgreep op.

Het bed was een klein 2 persoonsbed en de ruimte eromheen beperkt.

weinig kastruimte, terwijl er bij boeking werd vermeld dat er een terras was!!

The lodge is very cosy, nice decoration and has everything you need for a short weekend.

Wonderful hosts who made us feel most welcome. Excellent communication with the hosts regarding breakfast and procedure to access the nearby free parking. The room itself was equipped to a very high standard, with full kitchen and equipment. Beautiful bathroom with an excellent shower and also lovely toiletries. The view from the room onto the canal right outside was fascinating, with boats and people to watch. Even better that you were able to sit on your own bench! The hosts had left a variety of tourist brochures about nearby attractions, there’s plenty to see in the beautiful town of Dokkum itself. The breakfast supplied by the hosts was exceptional, fresh ingredients, well prepared, plentiful and a slight variation each day. I’ve never had better! Do try the Dokkum coffee, it’s delicious. There are several supermarkets within a 10 min walk, nearby cash machine and a good variety of eating establishments to choose from that suit all pockets. You must try the ice cream shop down the road, fantastic selection! Wished that we could’ve stayed longer and would definitely return here.
