Apartment Mario

Great location, apartment was very clean, good size. There was a lot of toilet paper and towels left for us which was very much appreciated. Mario was easy to contact. We were left a map and some basic facilities like tea/ coffee/ sweets/ fruit which was a lovely gesture!

The third bedroom was through another bedroom, there was no private entrance. Only one bedroom and the kitchen had air con so the other rooms were quite warm. There was no lock on the kitchen door. The outside of the apartment like the hallways weren’t the most pleasant but all in all we still had a great time and would stay again!

The location is perfect for us to visit the downtown of Split. It's a stone away from the center but we could sleep well without having much noise outside. The owner and his son are very kind to come and fix a few small issues such as TV remote controller. The rooms are super clean, spacious and well furnished. There is a parking lot 1 minute away from the building and parking costs just 12 euro per day.

The mattress on one of the two beds (in the room close to living room) was not comfortable enough as it's not exactly flat (a bit higher in the middle). Parking space was difficult to be found during the weekend and even on Monday. So we had to park our car at another private parking lot (at the other side of football field) which costs around 40 euro per day.

Door to building was not locked over night.

Beautiful apartment, in a great location. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

There was only air-conditioning in one of the bedrooms and the other one was incredibly hot.
