Casa Baciu Colacu

Very nice location, excellent food, excellent staff. Room was big, luxurious, with nice balcony and beautiful view.

There wasn’t air conditioner on the property. We didn’t need it at that time, since the weather was cooler, but I’m sure that would be needed for warmer weathers.. Also, no swimming pool there..

Lovely setting, lodge style property with shared lobby / cozy areas, warm ambiance, large room with wonderful design touches, nice spots to relax such as swings, massage chairs etc. excellent food and fresh trout (the menu was not very varied, but really nice and fresh)

Hotel was rather empty, the spa facilities (jacuzzi etc) were not really ready for use. But the personnel offered assistance and they prepared some of it on the spot

Casa Baciu Colacu is a wonderful guest house where you can really relax. We were able to enjoy the superior room in the wellness house for 3 days, where the room, bathroom and terrace were furnished with a particularly good sense. The bed was very comfortable. The wellness department is perfectly satisfactory with the outdoor and indoor jacuzzi, the large sauna, salt room and steam bath. All of this is topped off by the wonderful view (pine forest). Breakfast was made special by home-made dishes and every evening we also tasted local dishes, which were very good both in terms of taste and portion. The locally produced afinata (cranberry liqueur) and apricot versions are also not to be missed! The performance of the local dance group was a pleasant surprise - the hosts really care about passing on local values. We went on a trip to the Radnai mountains and and we arrived on the Transrarăul road, which is also an adventurous trip by car. One thing is for sure, we will be back as soon as possible. :)
