Room Atalaia- Ideal for Single

The shower only had very cold water. Lots of noise from bars below the appartment

Bed was comfortable , sheets were clean. Usable kitchen. Room was cute with little Juliette balcony. Hot water,

Loud at night, but to be expected, facing party street. Managed to sleep well anyways.

It was very well located

Luis was cooperative. The Location was good and close to public transport like, Metro, Railway and trams. Close to the main square

the climb to the property, as it is quite steep to reach the place. Supermarkets are scarce, Once managed, it is good

It is well located, pretty close to everthing is Lisbon. For a reasonable price, you at least have a private room, although, the bathroom needs to be shared.

For me it was not a problem, but as others also write, it is extremely noisy during the night. The bathroom needs to be shared with several other rooms even from the apartment next door, they were coming here even though the have their own... Plus Bairro Alto is a higher part of Lisbon, so be prepared for a lot of uphills and stairs to get here.

The location was fantastic, very close to central and most tourist spots. Value for money, basic and no-frills accommodation. Check in is simple, and you do not ever cross paths with any staff/guests.

The apartment is pretty much someone's house where all rooms were converted into guestrooms. It is on the very top floor, so you will have to carry your luggage up 6 flights of stairs. Also be warned - the apartment is directly above the party street so it WILL be loud every day of the week until 2-3am easily. I was able to sleep with ear plugs and sheer exhaustion. Room was not spotless, but clean enough for a short stay. There is no daily housekeeping. The shower was quite dangerous and I bruised myself getting in and out. It is essentially a tub with a step and you have to go on the step to exit the tub, which I slipped on a couple times.

The ventilator had 12 settings and didn't make a lot of noise. They came by to clean the shared rooms every day

The room ideal for single is missing a curtain/rolling curtain in the left window (door sized window). When I contacted the owner's they just told me I have something to block the right window. On the opposite side of the street there's a balcony, so everytime someone's out they can directly look into your room. Also the door doesn't close properly and I slept with me door basically unlocked for a full night. You have to twist the doorknob to actually close it, which wasn't stated anywhere. The windows don't keep out a lot of the noise coming from the party street in which the property is located
