Kensington Views

The view was amazing and it was close proximity (10 to 20 minute walk) to many different restaurants, grocery stores, and local shops. George was absolutely lovely, helpful, and present if you needed him. Extra bonus for animal lovers, they have two adorable and well behaved dogs (who have their own section) that greet you at their gate. Also, during those cold nights, they offer a heated bed/blanket within the mattress that will keep you nice and toasty. Finally, the shower was the best, spacious and well designed and stayed hot.

Everything was fine, but personally the mattress was too soft for my back.

The guesthouse really exceeded our expectations - the rooms were so beautifully decorated, the views were stunning, and we had complete privacy (the pool just for ourselves!). We had a late flight, and George and Elizabeth were very happy to let us check out in the evening. We were always met with immense kindness and joy! Definitely coming back. :)

Wonderful stay. Great location within walking distance to Kloof Street but on a quiet residential road with a gorgeous view of Lion’s Head. We loved how at home we felt in the apartment and the beautiful patio. George and Elisabeth were very kind and communicative.

The location is quiet and secure, the view stunning and George was super friendly. The cleanliness was good and a baby cot was kindly provided. Nice bathroom.

The rooms are part of a private home and are therefore not sufficiently separated when someone else is in the house which was the case during our stay. We could hear every step and every word and someone came up to our terrasse one morning when we had breakfast (the person was friendly though!). The rooms are rather dark with thick rugs and loads of decoration. The kitchen & living room is full of pictures of the owners and her horses which again makes you not really feel like you have your own space.

This hotel in Cape Town was simply exceptional. Set in a breathtaking location, it offered stunning views and an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxing. The service was flawless, with remarkable attention to detail that made every moment memorable. A true haven of peace and serenity that I would highly recommend.

Tolle, ruhige Lage mit wunderschönen Blicken zum Tafelberg und auf den Lion‘s Head. Die Kloof Street mit vielen Bars und Restaurant ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Auto kann man sicher an der Straße abstellen. George hat sich fantastisch um uns gekümmert.

Da gibt es nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hätte

Die Lage in Gardens ist hervorragend, ruhig gelegen und zu Fuss sind auch mehrere Lokale gut erreichbar. George kümmert sich um sämtliche Anliegen und ist stets da um sein bestes zu geben. - nochmals thanks a lot George :-). Wir werden wenn immer möglich gerne wiederkommen
