I like the location, the safety around the neighbourhood. The staff and the owner with their warm welcome and professionalism. I liked the setting of the property , it felt like staying at a hotel just homely. I would definitely return with the family and highly recommend to all.

Lodge is located in great, safe, quiet and peaceful area and we could Uber to anywhere in Cape Town easily. The hosts Cami and Sue are really friendly and welcoming and they made us feel at home. They serve freshly made breakfast daily and on the days that they don't they prepared packed breakfast for us which was a plus. I suggest making variety of dishes for breakfast though on different days. The rooms have AC and are spacious enough with enough wardrobes and they provide everything needed to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily apart from Xmas day which is understandable. The pool is small, cozy and clean. The kids enjoyed swimming in it. We enjoyed our stay generally in this place and would come back again.

We were charged an extra R300 for checking in after 10pm which is something I have never experienced in any hotel or Airbnb in the world. I thought it was unfair to charge us extra just because our flight landed late at night yet we had fully paid. Had this aspect been mentioned in the description in booking.com or website we would have been prepared for the extra charges but it's not mentioned. I suggest clearly stating this aspect in the description to avoid surprise charges

Cami, Rory and Sue were all superb. Very helpful in terms of recommendations and advice, and really welcoming. The facilities (that we used) were all great and it felt like a home away from home. We didn't use the pool etc so cannot comment, but the room, the amenities within the room, and the courtyard were all well kept. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the location was fantastic. When we are next in Cape Town we will be sure to give Cami a call for a room!
