Love our stay at Lentelus. Elize is a superb host. We loved how close is was to red berry farm and how quiet and tranquil it is.

I loved the farm surroundings, they gave off a sense of peace, on top of that it was truly wonderful to be able to sit on a porch chair as the sun started to set and watch the many bunnies chase each other across the field and the pea hens come curiously close to us. The 2-bedroom cottage was cute too, with a great little braai on the porch. The manager Elize was also such a sweet and helpful person.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything but if I had to say; the property gives a farm style vibe with some animals around but there isn’t even a walking path to explore. Most people who choose a place like that in farm land do so because they enjoy the peace and space to explore. It is limited to a small grass area. As for the cottage itself; the bed wasn’t very comfy, they lack some basics like salt and pepper (as important as coffee and sugar). If it had been me deciding the decor, I would’ve remained consistent with a theme, instead it was an odd mix of beach house decor, the outdated plant/fern hype, and some classic farm style decor.

Comfortable beds, everything you need for a self catering stay, the availability of braai facilities, the cookies, milk and sherry was a nice touch. The manager Elize makes the experience, very friendly and very helpful.
