- Staff were helpful and friendly - Communication before arriving was good - Property was very flexible when we had to originally cancel and rebook - Very close to the beach - Room was spacious - Generally nice look of the property

- On the ground floor, you need to keep the curtains closed at all times, making the room dark - Currently construction site across the road - No ventilation in the bathroom, making it very humid, nothing can dry - Too few hooks to hang stuff up - For the price, the facilities (e.g. shower head, mattress) seem subpar - We left at 7.30am on final day and no one was at reception when we left (no breakfast even though part of our booking)

We liked everything

The location of Iru is the best and just a walk away from the beach and water sports. The bed is very comfortable and the air con works a treat. The morning breakfast is great. We even asked for extra pillows are they were accomodating. A very peaceful stay.

The bathroom was a bit average with no fan or air flow. Water never got hot but was warm enough. A bit on the pricey side.

There was a building sight between guesthouse and the beach, that they informed us same day as arriving… They only accept cash

Lovely staff, they even prepared a bbq for us and cooked fish that we’d caught. Tastefully decorated and a short stroll to the beach. Tasty big breakfast

Water in the shower was quite smelly, maybe it’s the same for the whole island

Hospitality was awesome. Kamal helped us with transfer, luggage after checkout, info about the island. Room was very clean and quite spacious. It is very close to the beach. And thulusdhoo is really relaxing. Also some options for adventures.

Good location, but lots of refurb work right outside. Nice design on the interior, good breakfast.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great welcoming experience from the reception manager. Experienced unclear communication about payment with only cash… and overall not great, but the gentleman serving our breakfast was very kind throughout. Cleanliness also could have been a bit better.

The guesthouse is really really beautiful. The staff was super friendly and attentive. No complaints about them, as they did their best with what they were provided, always with a smile and positivity. The location is decent as it is very close to the beach. This is a place, if utilized correctly, will bring joy to the tourists.

The place is full of potential, and it's heartbreaking to see how underutilized it is. Even though it's supposed to be a 3-star place, I'm afraid it doesn't meet all the criteria. Keeping that aside, we were dumbfounded to enter the bathroom for it didn't have a showerhead. The cubicle of the shower does not fill the purpose at all. If you set the hand shower as a showerhead, the whole bathroom would get wet, defying the purpose of the shower cubicle. The placement of both the AC and the fan is weird which is why it takes a long time for the room to get cool. Moreover, there was space underneath the door which would let the air pass, and this is another reason why it would take longer for the room to get cool. The lighting is not adequate. You have to go to the bathroom to do your makeup, and by the time, you're done, your makeup would melt. There was no closet and only two hooks where you could hang your clothes. There was no tissue box or dustbin in the room either. It's weird to see that after paying such an amount, you'd have to ask for the bare minimums. The staff was very friendly, especially Mr. Kamal. However, when the resources are so scarce, there is only so much the staff can do! Overall, not worth the money. Certainly, it's a beautiful place, but the facilities have to be improved a lot!
