would not recommend this accommodation. The property was very underwhelming and did not match the photos advertised on the website. Upon arrival, the flat felt cold and had a noticeable mouldy smell, which made it uncomfortable from the start. The staff were generally unwelcoming and made us feel as though we were invading their space rather than being paying guests. We were only provided with one roll of toilet paper and insufficient bedding for the cold conditions, requiring us to request extra blankets and additional tissue paper. When we asked about heating options, one staff member explained that providing electric blankets or even hot water bottles would be too costly for them. Given the cold temperatures, this response was disappointing and showed little concern for guest comfort. Although the accommodation is advertised as selfcatering, the staff member who checked us out complained that we had used the kitchen facilities, which was both confusing and unprofessional. Security was also a concern. During our stay, an older couple was allowed onto the premises despite not being guests. They stated that they were looking for a staff member who usually offered them a place to sleep. This raised serious questions about access control and guest safety. Overall, this was the worst accommodation experience I have had in Port Elizabeth. Between the misleading photos, poor service, lack of basic comforts, and security concerns, I would not stay here again.

Bed was horrible, shower dirty, shower door broken, window cracked and could not close. Floor sticky and creaky.
