Water on Waldrift Guesthouse

A real farm feel, open space and big enough room and bathroom. We did not take the breakfast option. Staff was great and prompt. There are 3 small lounge seating areas which makes it private enough to relax. Good security and lights around the grounds. 1 or 2 Restaurant nearby during the day, more about 9km away.

Our room was separate from the rest of the rooms and bathroom next to the office with a shared window, so not able to open for fresh air. An aircon would have been nice, although a fan was provided it was very hot the 2 nights we spent there. Full sun in the morning. Can not comment on other rooms. Some of the cushions needs replacement.

Definitely will book at this place for a wknd gateway, the room was spacious and had both a bathtub and a shower

Good value for money.....The receptionist went out of her way to make us feel welcome.....rooms were perfect

Was a last minute request to stay and they were happy to accommodate our needs

Would have been nice to have a door directly out of the bedroom to facilitate having a dog.

Tranquility. A perfect place to unwind and relax. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Staff is welcoming and friendly. A definite gem in the vaal. Will be back soon!

The hospitality of the staff was amazing. They went all out to accommodate us especially with regards to breakfast. The chef was very flexible. The beautiful interior was just a breath of fresh air. Pity we didn't have time to get into the indoor pool.
