Little Fields Country House and Cottages

The secret garden villa. This is what we landed up calling it because from the moment you enter you feel like you are in a tucked away, picturesque safe haven, surrounded by the most beautiful garden and with such a breathtaking view as well. This property is exquisite and far surpassed our expectations, the photos really do not do it justice. It is all the small touches that just make it so beautiful. Waking up to the smell of freshly baked DELICIOUS muffins in the morning was also an unexpected treat! The house is fully equipped with absolutely everything you may need, it is spacious and beautifully designed. We felt so safe, we loved just sitting on the patio, staring at the view in actual quiet away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed experiencing an actual sense of peace and serenity. All 5 of us loved staying at little fields, including my young daughters, the hot tub was definitely their highlight, but I think overall because of the owner Di and Samke the co-host and their passion and commitment to what they do and to making you have the best experience possible, it honestly was a holiday we will never forget and from now on, we won’t be staying anywhere else whenever we go down. We didn’t want to leave! And neither will you!

Absolutely nothing

The room was nice with the most beautiful view. Everything was neat and tidy and the staff was very friendly. The only problem we had was with the shower, the hot water was extremely hot and if you open the cold tap too much the gas geyser switches off and you end up with only cold water. It wasn't bad enough to complain, sure in winter this would be ideal. Overall the stay was great!

Nothing

Absolutely everything but the outdoor shower, the fireplace and the freshly baked muffins delivered each morning were my absolute favourites.

There was nothing not to like.

Location was great. A beautifully appointed cottage jn a secret garden. If you could have elegant farmhouse mixed with mid century and whimsy ...this would be it!!!! Top it off with fabulous touches like fresh flowers in the rooms, muffins each morning, generous jars of granola and rusks as well as tea, coffee, milk and filtered water. Add sublime bathroom essentials, serenity, privacy and friendly staff....a fantastic find!, Thank you Di!!!

Honestly...I can't offer a thing....perhaps that our stay was too short!
