"Lovely weekend breakaway in a peaceful town"

We booked our stay on very short notice and Matthew was very forthcoming in accommodating us, even when we had to book in early. He received us with great hospitality, telling us about the surrounds and local places to visit. The Studio room is spacious for a couple and has a large bathroom . The room is well-equipped and a lot of thought goes into making this a comfortable stay for guests! The room has a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. It is peaceful and quiet, great for a well deserved escape from the city. We will definitely be back to visit! We truly enjoyed out stay!

What a lovely stay! We really enjoyed the comfort and space and privacy. Attention to detail and beautiful decor really made us feel so at home. Matthew is an amazing host and of course we loved our new feline friend charming Charlie! 😍 we will most definitely stay here again

"We hated leaving - a perfect place to relax and unwind."

Centrally situated but in a quiet residential street. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfy, warm and superb pillows everything for the best night’s sleep. We had a fireplace in our room and we used it on one night as it can get chilly in winter. Our room was spotless and we also had our own private garden entrance and a terrace to drink sundowners as we watched the sun go down. We had a tea/coffee tray with fresh milk daily in our room and a fridge was provided. A sherry decanter on the table next to the fireplace was a super touch! Great choice of TV channels in the room so able to watch the tennis Paris Olympics. The best thing for me personally is Charlie, the house cat seemed to take a shine to me and what a gorgeous boy he is. I hated leaving him!

"Small things matter."

It's the small things that matters. The luxurious dressing gowns, complimentary sherry, chocolates, and fresh flowers. There is fresh milk in the fridge for coffee or tea. One of my favorite guest houses.
