Sea La Vie Beach House

We stayed one night at Sea La Vie and it was perfectly fine for our purposes. There was a bit of a mix up with our room key, but it was sorted out in the end.

I wasn't thrilled with the location because it is not walkable to the beach or to the village, but it was fine because we had a vehicle.

Very accommodating owner. Very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast and very accomadating with breakfast times, service was good.

The shower in the first room needs some maintenance 11 maby comsider something for wheelchair accesabilty

We were booked in Room 1 with a garden view. The garden view was washing lines and a retainer wall with plants close to the window. The bathroom, especially the shower and showerhead were, not up to standard. Every movement of the guests upstairs could be heard. We never saw the hosts although the key to the room was in a key safe which they sent the number for. We had to message to get the Wi Fi code. The next morning we saw a cleaner cleaning the kitchen that was left dirty on our arrival. This room is dark without any view which really was a letdown and not what was expected. We think this room should either be changed to also have a view to the front or not be used to rent out. Maybe the rooms with sea view are be better? We gave our response to the owners and was promised a 50% payback as they admitted that the bathroom was not up to standard. But up to 5th of April we have not received any payback. We stayed the evening of 14 of March 2025. I know Sea la Vie does not mean Sea, but if you sleep over in Wilderness you maybe want to see the Sea or mountains or lakes and not be in a dark back room?

Lovely place, the room we booked (deluxe) was so perfect! Beautiful bathroom, big balcony with a fantastic view. The host was super friendly and accommodating and offered us some surprise breakfast the first morning. I really felt comfortable in the space, it was super welcoming. Although we had a beautiful room, we also spent some time in the common area, because it was so beautifully decorated and cosy. Short walk to town and the beach. I would definitely come here again!

The big street in front is noisy, but it didn't bother me too much. The sea drowned out the noise, especially at night. Because of the roadworks, there was a section that was a bit difficult to walk when going to town. But I think once the work is done, I think there shouldn't be a problem at all. None are reasons not to book this place!

I had a nice relaxing stay. Very comfy bed, beautiful sea view and seeing the dolphins playing in the waves was an added bonus! The hosts are two amazing people, I was well looked after and cared for. Definitely strangers who became friends 🙂 I will highly recommend this location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

VERY FRIENDLY reception and willing to go the extra distance to assist. Jolien was a pleasure to communicate with, always cheerful... The location is very close to a variety of dining establishments and places of interest . Would certainly return IF in the area again.
