Beautiful accommodation in an old rustic home that has been converted into a guesthouse. Facilities are clean and there is a lot of attention to detail. There is complimentary still water, coffee, tea, milk for your coffee and delicious rusks in your room. There is also a separate communal kitchen area (complete with stove, oven, fridge, freezer and microwave) with pots, crockery and utensils so you can even cook a meal for yourself if you'd prefer that. We stayed here twice, on the way to Cape Town from Johannesburg and on the way back. I recommend this one hundred percent as a great place to layover on a drive between Johannesburg and Cape Town. If you have time you can even spend a day exploring the quiant little town. Thank you to the host Amanda for accommodating us with a late check in!

The room and ensuite are both spacious. The bed was comfortable, so I had a good night’s rest. There’s lots of space in the shower and it has a huge shower head. It’s easy to check-in and checkout is easy and the manager is very friendly and understanding.

The place was well decorated with a vintage feel, we really appreciate how much thought was put into the place and how cute and beautiful everything was. The beds were comfy and there was enough space. We liked having a sitting area with couches in the large room, and also the common area with couches and kitchen utensils to use was very nice. We needed an overnight stay for a long drive and this was great.

Nothing really. We booked the family room for 4 friends, the bathroom set up totally makes sense for families with children, but a bit awkward for friend groups - there were two showers, two basins and a toilet all in one very large bathroom. The lights weren't separate and was on together for both the bathroom and the outside tea-making area.

We arrived and were met with friendly faces and big smiles. Your place is neat and comfortable. We enjoyed feeling safe and that our cars were locked behind big walls and electric fencing. Big bonus.

We couldn’t get the tv to work in the outside kitchen, but we were tired so it wasn’t important. Just that we were sharing the room with my sister and she doesn’t sleep early and we had to try sleep whilst she watched in the room.
