StarFish Accommodation

It was such a great stay for us and our dogs. The yard is completely fenced in and the location is amazing. The host went above and beyond, there was coffee, tea, milk, spices, everything you need.

Beautiful rustic stay without the frills. The indoor fire place was a winner for the stormy Winter's night. We had every thing we needed and the dogs enjoyed the court yard. Our host, Marinda, was so friendly and welcomed us personally. Will definately stay at Starfish again.

Starfish was a wonderful place to stay and served perfectly as our base to explore the surrounding area. Naturally, fishing was high on the agenda, although I didn’t catch anything this time. We spent a day in Arniston, exploring the famous sea caves, which I highly recommend. In Struisbaai and Agulhas, we sampled the local cuisine, visited the southernmost tip of Africa, and fished at various spots along the coast. Our host, Marinda, was fantastic. She welcomed us warmly and even left some thoughtful treats, including a little something for Queenie, our beloved Jack Russell. The property is dog-friendly, secure, and full of charm. Highly recommended for a peaceful and pet-friendly coastal getaway.

I like everything there is nothing I did not like.

One has a whole house, garden, patio, and off-street parking are to oneself. Friendly host who lives close-by. Feels like home, just better decorated :) and with the constant sound of the ocean in one's ears.

Marinda was so friendly and very quick to answer any questions we had beforehand. The cottage is beautifully adorned with art of the very talented Marinda. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook whatever you like. Walking distance to harbour. Totally private and pet friendly which is very important to us. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the little treats throughout the house.
