Not well maintained. Not updated. Carpet in toilet stains around toilet. Shower mouldy covers coming off. Linen and towels old. Outside unkept weeds and grass

"Close to Wedding venues, disappointing comfort."

The location is very close to wedding venues in the area which is the reason why we stayed at Troutbagger. It is comforting to know that you don't have to travel far. It was nice to have an aircon in the room.

Whilst the property is beautiful, I believe the accommodation is well overdue for a refresh. We were disappointed in the beds they were as hard as a rock and uncomfortable, the pillows are knobbly and judging how flat they are as probably as old as I am. We stayed at another establishment directly after our stay for a comparable price whose comfort and facilities were worlds apart.
