"Fabulous gem to stay at."

What a gem of a lodge on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with everything you needed. The breakfast and dinner was tasty and well prepared and we enjoyed them immensely. The absolutely amazing staff went above and beyond to satisfy any requests we had without a problem. A huge thank you to Dene who looked after us so well! We were so grateful to Jaco who helped us plan our trips and really made the break so special for us. He constantly checked in with us to see if he could help with suggestions and advice about the area and what to do. Thanks to him we had an amazing time and saw everything the beautiful area had to offer. All in all we highly recommend it.

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Zwischen den Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Stadt. Frühstück war sehr gut

Ein kleines bisschen könnte man an verschiedenen Sachen mal Hand anlegen. Bett wackelig, alle Wasserhähne ebenfalls... Aber funktioniert hat alles

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und herzlichen Dank an Dene, die uns eine ganz tolle Tour zu den Erdmännchen organisiert hat. Leckeres Abendessen, eher einfaches Frühstück.

Leider war an einem Abend, als wir nicht im Thorntree gegessen haben, abends die Bar (und die Räumlichkeiten) geschlossen und niemand vor Ort mehr anzutreffen…dadurch gibt es leider Punktabzug…🤷🏻‍♀️

Dene and her team were exceptional from the time that we were booked in through the entire stay and the check out. The lodge is stunning and is designed for the guests comfort with a stunning pool, outside dining area, outside lounge and deck chairs with a beautiful garden. The karoo lamb chops and ostrich steaks were delicious together with the African hot chocolate cocktail.
