"Beautiful home for two days"

Breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and served in a nicely manner. The premises were great and perfectly decorated. Very nice atmosphere.

The waiting time for our second coffee was long 😉. In the night there was a bird „singing“ loud for hours and hours right in the tree close to our room. But that’s Africa, I guess.

It does not really get better, so well thought out, so spacious, so attentive, great team, lovely pool, short cab ride or drive to everything.

Nothing to complain about, if you have anything to complain about it's not the place it's you.

The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. We loved the interior and the fireplace in the communal area

The only thing that was a bit negative was the mating frogs that made a lot of noise. We mentioned this to the owner though and thanks to a little trick the second night was already much better

Evans was just amazing, he's proactive and thoughtful. The breakfasts were truly fantastic. They really have thought of everything to make your stay at Long Story memorable. Everything is exactly as advertised on the site, it's a beautiful spot.

I stayed in the New Story Suite and the bed is in need of a new mattress. It's a bit worn out on the sleeping sides so there's a ridge in the middle. Also, I didn't see a cat anywhere but I would recommend anyone wanting to stay there who's allergic to cats should take extra strong antihistamines with them. I fell asleep twice with the brown blanket on me that was on the bed and both times I woke up with the typical cat allergy reaction. It was only after the second time that I realised a cat must be getting into the room while I was out and sleeping on that blanket.

Very classy. It was absolutely wonderful. Evans was such a great host. Pity we didn’t meet the owners but we truly loved it there. ♥️
