Plumwood Boutique Hotel by The Living Journey Collection

Room was lovely, well taken care of, breakfast delicious and the staff quite attentive.

The biggest issue was that the Plumwood Hotel was being renovated so when we arrived we were told staying there was impossible because the beds had been removed for the renovation. Happily they quickly added that they had moved our booking to a sister property called the Chapter House which was a few blocks away from the Plumwood abd even nicer than the Plumwood. In the end it was fine but there was a moment of panic when it wasn't clear we had any place to stay. I don't know who dropped the ball Booking .com or Plumwood but we were never notified.

Spacious and clean rooms, well appointed, excellent location

I paid extra for parking and there was no parking available. I had to park on another street, which was not safe or convenient given that I had come for the Bastille Festival. The staff were ill equipped to deal with this issue at the time and afterwards. I have not been refunded for the parking fee even though I supplied my banking details.

Everything! Literally all was perfect, staff care, breakfast, room, heating, garden, support, nature, environment, everything.

Nothing.
